Large industrial fans are suitable for installation in buildings with a total height of more than 3.5 meters. The structure is steel structure, steel-concrete square beam, brick-wood structure, concrete and other large building spaces. Industrial fans installed by hoisting do not occupy ground space and do not affect the normal working process of any ground working area. They are safe and reliable. However, large fans have certain special requirements for the installation position. Only the ideal and appropriate installation position can maximize the role of the fan. The following are some special installation positions that affect large fans.

1. The influence of the horizontal plane of large industrial fan blades and the distance between the roof
The area between the horizontal plane of the fan blades and the roof is called the air storage area. Industrial large fans can generate 1000-1500 cubic meters of ultra-large air volume per minute. After professional measurement and calculation, the appropriate height of the air storage area should be maintained at about 2.5-3 meters. If the factory has a driving or roof height limit, the ideal height cannot be guaranteed. The insufficient volume of the air storage area will greatly reduce the air volume generated by the fan per minute, thereby affecting the air volume coverage area: If the standard height requirements cannot be met due to obstacles or height restrictions, this can be solved by increasing the density of the installed industrial fans.

2. The influence of the height of the horizontal plane of the fan blades from the ground
The height of the horizontal plane of the fan blades from the ground determines the coverage of the air volume of the large fan. Under standard conditions, when the fan blade is 6-8 meters above the ground, the wind pressure is large and the wind speed is uniform; when the blade is 9-13 meters above the ground, the wind pressure is slightly smaller, but the coverage area increases by 20-30%, and the wind speed decreases slightly; when the fan blade level is higher than 14 meters, the wind pressure, wind speed, coverage area and other indicators gradually weaken. Therefore, when installing large industrial fans, it is appropriate to keep the fan blade level 6-8 meters from the ground. If the height is greater than 9-13 meters, the fan density can be appropriately reduced, and try not to let the fan blade level be higher than 14 meters or above.

3. The impact of the factory structure and overall structure of the industrial fan installation
Before installing a large industrial fan, we need to pay attention to the following: if the items stored in the factory workshop are relatively high, or if there are other pipes, ceilings, wire tubes, signboards, etc. hanging on the roof, it may affect the work of the fan, and it is necessary to avoid these obstacles before installation; if there are many ground equipment, many sections, and complex structures, it will greatly affect the fan's ventilation, cooling, dehumidification and other effects. Therefore, before installing a large fan, it is best to ask professional technicians to conduct on-site inspections and overall fan layout planning.

Mar .04.2026
The energy consumption of industrial large fans' motors is influenced by multiple factors, which can be mainly classified into three categories: the performance of the motor itself, the operating conditions, and the usage environment. Reasonable control of these factors can significantly enhance energy efficiency and reduce operating costs. The performance of the motor itself is the foundation, and different types of motors have obvious differences in energy consumption...
How to Select an Industrial Large Fan Suitable for a Gym How to Select an Industrial Large Fan Suitable for a Gym
Feb .04.2026
First, pay attention to the size and air volume of the industrial large fan, which is the basis for adapting to the space of the gym. The size of the gym directly determines the choice of the fan. Generally, the diameter of the industrial large fan is positively correlated with the air volume and coverage area. The larger the diameter, the more sufficient the air volume it generates, and the wider the fitness area it can cover. When choosing, it is necessary to combine the actual area of the gym to ensure that the air volume of the fan can meet the overall ventilation needs, creating a refreshing and not stuffy exercise environment for members and avoiding the indoor stuffiness caused by insufficient ventilation...

With the upgrading of the manufacturing industry and the implementation of the "dual carbon" strategy, industrial plants have increasingly strict requirements for ventilation and cooling systems. The pain points of traditional ventilation equipment, such as high energy consumption and uneven coverage, urgently need to be solved. Industrial large fans (HVLS) have become the preferred solution for more and more enterprises to improve plant environments and reduce operating costs due to their prominent advantages of high energy efficiency, wide-area coverage, safety and reliability, injecting new vitality into industrial green production.
